The reason for the season!

We've had a pretty mild winter so far, a couple minor snow storms but nothing to write home about.  But that hasn't stopped us from hitting the slopes and "shreddin' some powdah!"  The kids take ski lessons on Wednesday nights (under the lights) and Andrew has taken a few day trips to Pat's Peak, which is a great, family-friendly mountain about an hour away from our house.  Abby has now been skiing for four years and is getting quite good; Brady just started last year but can hold his own and pretty much keep up with the rest of us.  (The smile on Andrew's face during it all is priceless! #proudparent)

Next month, during Abby's winter break, we're taking three days to head "up north" to ski at Cranmore.  I can't wait!

I'm smiling. Reminds me of MY younger days... skiing with MY parents and sister at High Pond in VT... and later, as a parent, with you all at Gunstock. Family time on the slopes - good stuff, indeed.

Xoxo,
Papa
